Founded on the principle that purpose-driven culture sustainably fuels success, EverSparq helps executives and leaders to quickly get to the crux of complex challenges while activating highly impactful and aligned teams.

I found my calling while serving as a physician and pediatric hospitalist, working on busy hospital wards amidst the din of alarming monitors and the hum of staff and families dealing with the stress of trying to heal sick children.

Every shift, I navigated the complexities of young patients’ ailments, weaving together the threads of their symptoms and test results into comprehensive plans to help them get better. Like an air traffic controller or a vigilant traffic cop, I felt like I was constantly directing the flow of medical specialists and family concerns, ensuring that each patient received timely and effective care. Doing this well and making everything run smoothly was the best part of my job.

I discovered that I liked organizing and coordinating things not just in the hospital for my patients, but also on the business side where I could create similar clarity and effect change on a larger scale. Even though the work was different, I was able to dig into my passion for transforming chaos into clarity, making things easier to understand for everyone to unlock paths forward.

With over 25 years of experience cutting through the chaos to make sense out of complicated situations, I am now reaching out beyond the corridors of hospitals and boardrooms and across industries to empower others to do the same. My advisory services and workshops are designed to help executives and other professionals find their way through the noise to achieve individual and organizational success.

In my 25+ years of leading and managing others, I have found that targeting four core foundational elements within an environment in which individuals are seen and valued for who they are, consistently paves the way for companies to become high-performing and successful organizations even under the most challenging circumstances.

This 4-Quadrant Framework is the basis for creating the type of purpose-driven culture in which individuals can connect their personal calling to their work and propel the company to success. I feel so strongly about the power of purpose-driven culture that I have assembled tools and expertise built around this 4-Quadrant Framework to share with other CEOs and executive leaders.

The intent of the EverSparq approach is to help leaders accomplish their company or project goals while developing and enhancing their concrete skills and techniques to be the best motivational, purpose-driven leaders they can while cultivating company cultures that honor the individual and engage them to work together to create magic.

About Dr. Christopher Kodama

Founder & Principal Consultant

Prior to launching EverSparq, a strategy consulting and executive coaching practice, Dr.  Christopher Kodama served as the President and CEO of Embright, a commercial, multi-regional clinically integrated network based in Seattle and co-owned by University of Washington Medicine, MultiCare Health System, and LifePoint Health. He led the launch and implementation of the company starting in 2019, contracting with healthcare purchasers including The Boeing Company and the Washington State Healthcare Authority. He has served in numerous administrative and clinical roles over the past 25 years including leading the launch and serving as the president of MultiCare Health System’s highly successful accountable care organization, MultiCare Connected Care.  He has also held a variety of executive leadership roles responsible for a broad variety of clinical and business activities including but not limited to implementing programs to drive improved system-wide clinical and financial performance, managing information technology implementations, leading cost structure improvement initiatives and program turnarounds, and guiding strategy design and business plan implementations.

Applying his passion for group facilitation, collaboration, and his commitment to infusing purpose-driven culture into the organizations he has worked for and with, Dr. Kodama is focused on helping leaders identify how to flip dilemmas into strategic opportunities and implement those strategies in ways that promote people and organizational performance and create sustained transformation to propel companies to success.
He has presented at numerous national and local professional conferences and community events on matters related to effective problem-solving, performance improvement, and leading diverse stakeholders through disruptive change.
